LVMax Tab

LVMax® is a patented adhesive tab system designed for floating installations of luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and luxury vinyl tile (LVT). The tabs connect individual planks and tiles to create a stable floating floor without the need for full-spread adhesive.

The system allows for faster installation, simplifies individual plank replacement and provides flexibility for commercial and residential flooring applications. LVMax has been successfully used with both traditional dryback LVP/LVT and heavy commercial vinyl flooring products.

Description​​

LVMax® features a specially engineered multi-layer adhesive tab designed to connect luxury vinyl planks and tiles in a floating installation.

The system incorporates a durable polyester film construction with a high-performance adhesive and a silicone adhesive centre strip. This combination provides reliable bonding between adjoining flooring products while allowing the floor to remain floating over the substrate.

LVMax eliminates the need for full-spread flooring adhesive, reduces installation disruption and allows individual planks or tiles to be replaced without removing large sections of flooring.

For optimal performance, LVMax should be used with dimensionally stable flooring products suitable for floating installations, following FloatMax installation guidelines.

Tab Application

​

LVMax® is designed for floating installations of compatible luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring.

Before installation, ensure the substrate is clean, dry, flat and properly prepared. Flooring products must be dimensionally stable and suitable for the intended installation environment.

Position LVMax adhesive tabs beneath adjoining planks or tiles according to the approved FloatMax installation pattern. Apply firm pressure to establish proper adhesion between the tabs and flooring.

Maintain a minimum 3/16" (approximately 5 mm) expansion gap around walls and fixed vertical surfaces. Do not permanently bond the flooring to the substrate.

Always follow the applicable LVMax installation instructions and flooring manufacturer's requirements.
